This gave us a chance to try out our new mobile petting zoo – just unveiled for this event! Everything was going so well until right at the very end when we brought Emma, the mini horse out to play with the children. Poor li’l Calie, the mini donkey, just couldn’t stand being in the petting zoo alone with the two crazy goats – she needed the company of another equine. So…..she “hopped” over the fence, crushing the top in the process. Well, thank goodness she didn’t skewer herself on the PVC spikes – nope, they just broke off!
